    • NEGGLL's fields are located at Pioneer Park in Garden Grove.  Parks address is 12722 Chapman Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92840.
  • What are the minimal commitments as a member of the NEGGLL family?
    • For the Spring 2023 Season each family is required to participate and complete the ballplayer fundraiser for each ballplayer that is registered to play.  Also, each family is required to sign-up and work 2 snack bar shifts during the season for each ballplayer.  A $75 buy-out is available for each shift you choose not to work.  We would love for all members of NEGGLL to work their shifts and not just buyout but understand that always isn't possible.
  • I want to manage or coach my child's team, what are the minimal requirements for that?
    • Please register your self under the VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES section of the site, for your interest to become a Team Manager.
    • To Manage or Coach in Little League Baseball all volunteers need to fill out the volunteer form (downloadable from our home page and coaches corner page).  Once filled out you need to turn it in along with a photocopy of your driver's license to NEGGLL President Ray Martinez only.  All volunteers will have a background check done as required by Little League Baseball.  NEGGLL President Ray is the only board member who should see these forms and is the only one who deals with these matters.
    • Each team will also be assigned a number of games to umpire throughout the season.  The number of games will be determined when the schedule is completed and by the number of teams our league is fielding for the season.  The divisions that require umpires are the AA through Juniors division.  The league provides a paid umpire for the Majors and Juniors division.  The AA & AAA divisions are umpired by our leagues coaching staffs.  The Manager of each team is the responsible member of the team to fill these shifts.  The shifts can be filled by the Manger themselves, another coach on the team, or a parent of the team who has filled out a volunteer form and cleared a background check.
    • There will be an umpire clinic prior to the first game to go over how to umpire and each coach with receive a handout with each divisions rules that are district specific.
